My name is Christina and I’m a Great Dane mommy, business owner, and soon-to-be Choice Mom. In the course of my life, thus far, I’ve been a Division 1 softball player  (twice over), coach (three times over), small business owner (four times over), the recipient of a Psychology Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D), a ghost writer, self-publishing consultant, foster parent, foreign exchange student host (five times over), bookkeeper, software tester, baseball ticket counter, volunteer, service group secretary and soon to be Chamber of Commerce President.

But none of that will hold a candle to being a mother. These are all the stepping stones I’ve needed, challenges I’ve faced, obstacles I’ve overcome that have made me who I am today…and not a single one of them went the way I expected.

I started writing this blog for myself. As, a place to vent frustrations, whisper fears and cultivate hope. I believe in focusing on what you want rather than living in fear of what you don’t want and I hope, through writing, I can manage the tide in my mind and keep my course true, even if it is perpetually 15 degrees off center…

If you need a quick catch up for what’s going on, here are my first three blogs where I begin the tale, before the beginning:

#1: Decisions Decisions

#2: The Search Begins

#3: Are You Sure? No, No I’m not.
